Adenovirus

AdenovirusOur test catalog offers two different testing options for the adenovirus.  One is a component of the Respiratory Viral Panel and the other is an independent test. 

Please choose one of the following options to see specific information about the virus and testing services we offer.

  • Quantitative PCR — ViraCor’s quantitative adenovirus DNA PCR assay is used to detect all 51 serotypes and measure the quantity of virus present, track the course of infection, and monitor response to treatment.
  • Component of Respiratory Viral Panel — This viral assay is part of the Respiratory Viral Panel and is not available on an individual basis.
